From March 29th to 30th, 2024, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Football Club (VYEA-FC) held its 2024 Executive Board Meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Phan Dinh Canh, Member of the VYEA’s Central Committee and Chairman of VYEA-FC, and other members of the Club’s Standing Committee. Also attending were Mr. Phi Dinh Kien, Member of the VYEA’s Central Committee, Chairman of the Club’s 2nd Term, and Member of the Club’s Advisory Board, and other members of the Club’s Executive Board.
At the meeting, the VYEA-FC reviewed its activities in 2023 and deployed its plan for 2024. In the past year, the club successfully organized a number of large-scale young entrepreneurs’ sporting events that resonated within the community, such as: The 6th National Young Entrepreneurs Football Tournament in Hai Duong; The 1st National Vietnamese Enterprises Football Tournament; The “North – Central – South Convergence” Young Entrepreneurs Football Tournament; The Young Entrepreneurs Football Tournament to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Movement.
VYEA-FC also actively promoted social welfare activities with many practical and effective activities with a total value of over 250 million VND, such as: Contributing to the construction of a “gratitude house” (70 million VND) for the “2023 Gratitude Journey – Lighting Up Faith” program in Son La province; Donating 2 “loving houses” to the Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association for poor people in the province.
In 2024, VYEA-FC will continue to organize the 7th National Young Entrepreneurs Football Tournament and the 2nd National Enterprises Football Tournament. Through these activities, the Club hopes to further promote the physical training movement, connect members, and strengthen networking, trade promotion, investment, and business connections. This will create opportunities for cooperation and mutual support, consumption of products in domestic and international markets, and fulfilling the role of a strong club within the VYEA system.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Viet Nam Youth Union Central Committee awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals; the VYEA’s Central Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Club’s collective and certificates of merit to outstanding individuals of the Club. The Club also completed the addition of members to the Executive Board for the 3rd term (2023 – 2025).
Within the framework of the working program in Cambodia, the delegation of VYEA-FC visited and paid a courtesy call to the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia. H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Viet Nam to Cambodia, shared the economic situation of Cambodia and expressed his hope for more economic cooperation and sports exchanges between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Also on this occasion, VYEA-FC held a friendly football match with Visakha Football Club, a team competing in the Cambodian National Football Championship. The delegation also visited famous landmarks in Phnom Penh.
