Quang Ninh, Viet Nam – April 14-15, 2024 – The Young Entrepreneurs Trade and Investment Promotion Fair took place in Quang Ninh province on April 14-15, 2024, under the direction of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) and the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee. The event was organized by the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Trade and Investment Promotion Club.
Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, former member of the CPV, former head of the CPV’s External Relations Department, Honorary Chairman of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the National Committee for Vietnamese Youth; Mr. Bui Van Quan, President of the 5th VYEA; Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the VYEA; Vice Presidents of the VYEA: Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hue, Mr. Phan Thanh Thien, Mr. Nguyen Tien Long, Mr. Hoang Cong Doan, Mr. Do Huu Huynh; Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Vu Van Dien, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee attended the opening ceremony and visited the booths.
The fair attracted over 130 booths, representing organizations, businesses and young entrepreneurs from across the country. The products on display were focused on the fields of digital technology, digital transformation, automation products (intelligent robots…), smart products and regional specialties, OCOP products…
A new feature of this year’s fair was the live online sales sessions on digital platforms (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), with the participation of many famous Tiktoker, KOL, KOC…, creating a very special atmosphere, full of the colors of young entrepreneurs.
In his opening speech, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the VYEA, said that the fair is not only an opportunity for member businesses of the VYEA nationwide to introduce and promote their products, seek partners, but also an opportunity to grasp the needs and tastes of consumers and customers to serve the purpose of improving product quality and competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets.
The fair with direct booths will be a bridge for businesses and investors to seek partners for joint ventures and partnerships to expand the market, promote promotion, expand investment, but on the other hand, parallel activities on digital platforms will expand the customer base and at the same time promote trade connections between domestic and foreign businesses and investors.
According to Mr. Luu Cong Thanh, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association and President of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Trade and Investment Promotion Club, the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association wants to take the lead in implementing new ways of trade exchange and connection in line with the motto of the VYEA.
“I hope that this model will be referred to, commented on, improved and organized regularly by the VYEA, regional and local young entrepreneurs associations,” Mr. Thanh expressed.
Within the framework of the program, a seminar was held on “Promoting the digital transformation process and strengthening the application of IT in trade promotion and investment attraction”, with the participation of nearly 400 delegates.
At the seminar, guest speakers focused on discussing and sharing core issues and seeking solutions to promote the application of IT in trade promotion activities and as a prerequisite for attracting investment into Quang Ninh province.
On this occasion, the Quang Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the Young Entrepreneurs Trade and Investment Promotion Golf Tournament; organized the transfer of the Cluster Leader of the Central Mid-North Mountainous Cluster of Young Entrepreneurs to the Bac Giang Young Entrepreneurs Association; social security work in Mong Cai City…
After 2 days of vibrant activities, the closing ceremony of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Trade and Investment Promotion Fair in Quang Ninh took place on the afternoon of April 15. According to the organizers, through 3 online livestream sessions and 2 megalive sessions, the total online sales revenue reached a record high of over 7 billion VND. In addition, there were thousands of visitors to visit, shop and connect directly with businesses at the booths, contributing to the success of this year’s fair.
