The Central Committee of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) has recently announced the upcoming final selection council meeting for the Outstanding Young Startup Entrepreneurs 2024.
The meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of June 27th in Ha Noi capital.
The selection process for the Outstanding Young Startup Entrepreneurs 2024 began in March 2024. The VYEA Central Committee sent out invitations and nomination forms to various organizations. As a result, over 140 applications from 43 provinces and cities across the country were received.
During the preliminary selection council meeting held on June 4th, both in-person and online, 101 candidates were chosen to proceed to the practical assessment round.
Immediately following the preliminary meeting, from June 5th to 26th, 34 assessment teams conducted on-site evaluations of the shortlisted businesses. The teams thoroughly discussed and clarified the positions, roles, and achievements of the entrepreneurs in managing their businesses, as well as their contributions to the community.
According to the overall assessment of the teams, most of the businesses had assessment results consistent with their application profiles. They demonstrated effective business operations, fulfilled tax and social insurance obligations, and actively contributed to social welfare activities in their localities. The assessment teams also suggested that the candidates promptly consolidate and complete their profiles as per regulations for submission to the Final Selection Council for review and selection in accordance with the established rules.
Currently, the Organizing Committee is working diligently to update and review the data received from the assessment teams, providing a solid foundation for the Final Selection Council Meeting to select the TOP10 and TOP100 Outstanding Young Startup Entrepreneurs 2024.
