The program takes place from October 9 – 14, 2023, in Vientiane (Laos), organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union Central Committee. The Vietnamese Youth Delegation was headed by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the National Committee for Vietnamese Youth. The Viet Nam Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) has 02 delegates participating in the working group, including Mr. Tran Quang Minh & Ms. Nguyen Uyen Thao (from the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Da Nang City).
According to Mr. Bui Quang Huy, the two peoples and two countries, Viet Nam and Laos, have had a long-standing close relationship, sharing sweetness and happiness through the ups and downs of history. That historical source has formed a neighborly, brotherly, friendly and pure relationship that is rare in the world between the two countries. In recent decades, the reform process in each country has brought about great achievements in economic development, improving people’s lives, and the potential, position and international reputation of the two countries have increasingly increased. be enhanced, creating new position and strength for the young generation of each country to confidently and proactively integrate into the world. Among those glorious achievements are the active and significant contributions of the youth of Viet Nam and Laos, of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union.
First Secretary of the Central Youth Union emphasized that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union especially attaches great importance to the friendship and cooperation between the youth and youth of the two countries Viet Nam – Laos, continuing to make more efforts to improve the relationship. Within the framework of the program, a scientific conference took place with the theme “Increasing youth participation in promoting the production and consumption of domestic goods for national development”. The conference listened to many valuable presentations from youth union members of the two countries, such as the presentation “Individual business and start-up models and contributions to the country’s economy, encouraging Vietnamese people to use Vietnamese products” and the presentation “The role of the Youth Union in accompanying young people to start businesses, establish businesses, and develop the country’s economy”…
At the program, the VYEA’s delegates participated in exchange activities, exchanging experiences to learn about the country and people of Laos; At the same time, spend time meeting and exchanging to seek business cooperation opportunities between businesses of the two countries, contributing to promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
This is a meaningful activity when the two parties, two states, the two peoples and two youth organizations Laos – Viet Nam successfully organize the year of Solidarity and Friendship between Viet Nam – Laos and Laos – Viet Nam 2022; At the same time, it continues to affirm the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos that is constantly developing.
