The working session took place on the afternoon of May 8th in Nam Dinh province, aiming to promote the strengthening of the organization and activities of the Nam Dinh Young Entrepreneurs’ Association in the new period, to develop commensurate with the province’s potential and advantages, and in line with the expectations of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association (VYEA) and Nam Dinh province.
Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, former member of the CPV Central Committee, former Head of the Central External Relations Commission, Honorary President of the VYEA; Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Member of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the Viet Nam Youth Union, Vice President – General Secretary of the VYEA attended the working session. Also attending were representatives of the YEA clusters in the Red River Delta region; YEA of Hanoi, Ha Nam, Thai Binh provinces and cities.
On the side of Nam Dinh province, there were Ms. Ha Lan Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Trieu Van Thai, Member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee, Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial HCYU & President of the Viet Nam Youth Union of the province; Mr. Nguyen Son Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of the province.
Representing the Nam Dinh YEA, there were Mr. Le Van Thang, President; and Vice Chairmen of the Association: Mr. Nguyen Duc Phung, Ms. Phan Tuong Vy, Mr. Le Hai Dang; and members of the provincial YEA.
Nam Dinh YEA (formerly Nam Dinh Young Entrepreneurs’ Club) was established and held its first congress in 2009. In the early stages, the provincial YEA did a good job of building and developing the Association, with many practical activities to support members’ development, attracting more than 60 members to participate, contributing to the overall development of the VYEA in general and the Young Entrepreneurs’ Movement in the Red River Delta region in particular. However, from 2009 to now, the Nam Dinh YEA has not been able to hold a congress for its term of office; in recent years, the Nam Dinh YEA has fallen into a period of stagnation, its personnel apparatus has not been strengthened, and few activities have been organized.
At the working session, Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, Honorary President of the VYEA, and Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Vice President – General Secretary of the Association, spoke and suggested fundamental and long-term solutions to promote the development of the Nam Dinh YEA commensurate with its potential; including promoting activities to attract members to participate; sharing, supporting members in production and business; investing in building a specialized Association Office to connect and manage the Association’s activities…
The Association’s leaders affirmed that the strengthening and development of the Nam Dinh YEA will contribute to strengthening trade connections, trade promotion, and investment between young entrepreneurs in Nam Dinh in general and 19,000 young entrepreneurs nationwide; contributing to building a strong YEA from the Central level to the localities.
At the working session, representatives of YEA from provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region also enthusiastically discussed and shared experiences in strengthening the organization and activities of the Nam Dinh YEA.
Speaking at the working session, Ms. Ha Lan Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, highly agreed with the opinions of the Central Executive Committee delegation and the delegates attending the conference; requested the Nam Dinh YEA to urgently implement fundamental solutions in the immediate future to develop membership, strengthen the organization of the Association in order to organize the Congress soon.
The Nam Dinh provincial leaders also pledged to pay special attention to the activities of the provincial YEA in the coming time; at the same time, direct departments, branches, sectors, and the Provincial HCYU & Viet Nam Youth Union of the province to maximum support the Association’s activities in terms of organization, legal status, trade promotion activities, supply-demand connection, start-ups, and remove difficulties in implementing policies and guidelines into the production and business activities of member enterprises…
On this occasion, the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee respectfully requested the VYEA to continue to pay more attention and create more favorable conditions for the provincial YEA to develop commensurate with its potential, gradually overcome shortcomings and limitations, operate more effectively, meet the expectations of the VYEA and the provincial leaders; at the same time, wished that the YEA of neighboring provinces and cities in the region would continue to support and share operational experience with the Nam Dinh YEA.
