On March 15, 2024, in Komatsu City (Ishikawa Province, Japan), the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Group (Japan YEG).
Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, former Central Committee Member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, former Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Relations Department, and Honorary President of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Vice Presidents of the Association: Mr. Hoang Cong Doan, Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau; several members of the Presidium, Central Committee members of the Association, and some member enterprises.
According to the memorandum, within two years from the signing date, both parties will collaborate to organize projects promoting cooperation between Japan and Viet Nam associations; establish networks with relevant associations in each country to facilitate business exchanges between Japan and Viet Nam, while contributing to the economic development of both countries by promoting cooperation and mutual support between the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Group and the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
Furthermore, both parties will coordinate in implementing market development projects, involving the participation of member companies of both organizations; deploy projects to expand business operations into Japan and Viet Nam; and facilitate arrange the best conditions for hosting delegations from both sides for visits and work in Japan and Viet Nam.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association, highly appreciated the significance of this cooperation, expressing hopes that the cooperation between the two associations and between Japan and ASEAN as a whole will continue to strengthen, contributing to opening up many opportunities for development cooperation in various sectors: Import-export, logistics, agriculture, information technology, innovation, ESG (Environment-Social-Governance)…
Especially, according to the Presdent of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Japan is currently one of the leading countries and has achieved significant achievements in green and circular economic development. Therefore, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association hopes that after the signing of the memorandum, both sides will focus on enhancing cooperation in green and circular economy in areas such as: Organizing workshops, forums to share experiences, knowledge, and update the latest trends in green and circular economy.
Connecting businesses of the two countries through trade promotion activities, investment to create opportunities for cooperation, and developing green and circular economy projects.
Encouraging businesses of both countries to jointly research, develop, and apply advanced technologies in the field of green and circular economy.
Supporting businesses of both countries in accessing capital sources, preferential policies for green and circular economy projects.
On this occasion, Mr. Dang Hong Anh expressed his desire that both associations will organize many programs for young entrepreneurs of the two countries to meet, exchange, and connect through workshops and forums on the occasion of special important diplomatic events of the two countries Viet Nam – Japan.
The signing of this memorandum continues to affirm the integration process and the position of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association in participating in the network connecting young entrepreneurs of Viet Nam with young entrepreneurs of countries around the world.
On this occasion, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs delegation participated in activities within the framework of the 43rd National Convention – an annual event organized by the Japan Young Entrepreneurs Group, aimed at promoting cooperation, connection between young Japanese entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs of ASEAN member countries in exchanging experiences and promoting trade for the mutual development of young entrepreneurs in Japan and ASEAN region.
