Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1682/QĐ-TTg dated December 26, 2023 to reorganize the Prime Minister’s Council for Administrative Procedure Reform (Council), in which the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association (VYEA) continues to participate as a member of the Council.
Council Members
According to the decision, the President of the Council is the Minister and Chief of the Government Office, and the four Vice President are: the President of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the President of the Viet Nam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises; the founding President of the Viet Nam Software and Information Technology Services Association; and the Director General of the Department of Administrative Procedure Control, Government Office (Permanent Vice President & Secretary General of the Council).
Also according to the decisions, Council members include representatives of the leadership of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front; the Viet Nam Bar Association; the Viet Nam Lawyers’ Association; the Central Institute for Economic Management; the Viet Nam Women Business Owners Association; the Viet Nam Real Estate Association; the Viet Nam Banking Association; the Viet Nam Leather – Footwear – Handbag Association; the Viet Nam Textile and Garment Association; the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Processing and Export; and the Viet Nam Digital Agriculture Association.
In addition, Council members also include representatives of the leadership of: the Viet Nam Pharmaceutical Enterprises Association; the Viet Nam Private Hospital Association; the Viet Nam Tourism Association; the Tourism Advisory Council; the Viet Nam Logistics Services Enterprises Association; the Viet Nam Association of Agents, Brokers and Shipping; the Mekong Delta Business Association Council; the Binh Duong Business Federation; the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association; the American Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam; the European Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam; the British Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam; the Japan Business Association in Viet Nam; and the Korean Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Ha Noi.
Functions and Responsibilities of the Council
The Prime Minister’s Council for Administrative Procedure Reform is an advisory body to the Prime Minister, with the function of advising and proposing to the Prime Minister innovative reforms on mechanisms, policies, and administrative procedures related to production, business, and people’s lives; evaluating the implementation of administrative procedure reform at ministries, sectors, and localities.
The Council regularly or exceptionally organizes meetings with the business community and relevant agencies, individuals, and organizations to listen to difficulties and obstacles related to mechanisms, policies, and administrative procedures related to the production, business, and people’s lives of businesses and businesses. people; summarize the situation, results, report to the Prime Minister, the Head of the Prime Minister’s Administrative Procedure Reform Task Force; evaluate the implementation of administrative procedure reform at ministries, sectors, and localities and perform other tasks assigned by the Prime Minister.
The participation of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association in the Prime Minister’s Council for Administrative Procedure Reform shows the Government’s attention to the voices of entrepreneurs and businesses, especially young entrepreneurs, and demonstrates the close cooperation between the Government and businesses.
At the same time, this is also a way to contribute to raising the position and role of the Association in the cause of socio-economic development of the country; at the same time improve the effectiveness of administrative procedure reform, creating more favorable conditions for businesses in the process of production and business.
In the past time, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association has actively and proactively participated in the activities of the Council; proposed many valuable opinions to promote administrative regulation reform, contributing to promoting a democratic, professional, modern, effective, and efficient administration.
On December 27, 2023, Minister and Chief of the Government Office Tran Van Son signed Decision No. 134/QD-HĐTV approving the list of members of the Prime Minister’s Council for Administrative Procedure Reform. In it, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, is a member of the Council. |
