On the afternoon of October 16 in Ha Noi, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement serves as a foundation for implementing activities to enhance the capacity and financial access of businesses that are members of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association. It aligns with the government’s direction to promote the development of the young entrepreneurial community.
The signing ceremony took place at BIDV’s headquarters in Ha Noi and at BIDV branches across all 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
Attending the event in Ha Noi were Mr. Dang Hong Anh, President of the VYEA, and the VYEA’s Vice President: Mr. Phan Thanh Thien, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Mr. Nguyen Tien Long, Mr. Tran Dang Nam, Mr. Hoang Cong Doan, Mr. Do Duy Lien, and Mr. Duong Long Thanh. Also present were representatives from the VYEA’s Executive Board, the Ha Noi Young Business Association, and the Young Entrepreneurs Associations from provinces such as Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, and Nam Dinh, as well as the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Startup Investment Club.
On the side of BIDV, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam, a member of the Board of Directors and the CEO of BIDV, attended, along with Deputy CEOs Tran Long, Hoang Viet Hung & Doan Viet Nam, and representatives from departments at the headquarters and subsidiaries.
At other points across the country, leaders of local Young Entrepreneurs Associations and BIDV branch leaders also participated.
According to the cooperation agreement, BIDV will provide comprehensive financial solutions to young entrepreneurs and member businesses of the VYEA.
Additionally, both parties will strengthen cooperation in areas such as communications, brand development, and organizing activities to enhance business capacity, such as financial training for leaders and staff of women-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs), supporting technology access, updating market trends, introducing and connecting business activities between members of the VYEA and BIDV customers, and co-organizing trade promotion and business networking programs.
Based on this cooperation agreement, the VYEA will guide and implement the cooperation with Young Entrepreneurs Associations in 63 provinces and cities, as well as other affiliated units, to enable member businesses to efficiently access BIDV’s financial and banking services.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, VYEA’s President, said that the cooperation agreement would provide a basis for supporting and enhancing the capacity and financial access of member businesses (including both financial and non-financial solutions). This aligns with the tasks set out in Politburo Resolution No. 41/NQ-TW, which emphasizes the role of female and young entrepreneurs, and the government’s orientation toward supporting entrepreneurs and businesses.
On this occasion, the VYEA’s President thanked BIDV for its years of support for member businesses and expressed strong confidence in the effectiveness of the partnership between the two parties in the new phase.
“The VYEA has been, and will continue to be, a bridge, creating a networking environment between young entrepreneurs and reputable strategic partners like BIDV,” emphasized the VYEA’s President.
Mr. Le Ngoc Lam, CEO of BIDV, said that with BIDV’s long-standing history and the VYEA’s dynamism, the two parties will continue to seize opportunities to cooperate and develop effectively. This will contribute to building a new generation of young entrepreneurs in Viet Nam who are strong in both quantity and quality, with sufficient resources to leverage new technological achievements and compete regionally and globally.
The signing of this cooperation agreement marks a new step in the relationship between the VYEA and BIDV, laying the groundwork for more comprehensive and sustainable cooperation between the two units in the future.
