The signing ceremony took place on the morning of October 14 in Nanning City (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China), as part of the 23rd Viet Nam-China Youth Friendship Meeting and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and President of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam National Union of Students; Mr. Liu Ning, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China; Mr. Ai Dong, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, attended the signing ceremony.
Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Ms. Liu Ai Ping, Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and President of the China International Youth Exchange Center (an organization under the All-China Youth Federation), along with several members of the Executive Committee of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association and young representatives of youth and entrepreneurs from both countries, also attended the event.
The cooperation agreement between the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association and the China International Youth Exchange Center includes three main points. First, both sides agreed to strengthen exchanges, share information, and support each other by sending delegations of young entrepreneurs to participate in annual events to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between young businesses of both countries. Second, the two organizations will collaborate in sharing information on the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the “Two Corridors, One Economic Belt” strategy, creating conditions for young businesses to explore cooperation potential in fields such as agriculture, energy, digital economy, and green development. Third, both sides committed to continuing to participate in multilateral regional cooperation mechanisms such as ASEAN – China Young Entrepreneurs and Lancang – Mekong Young Entrepreneurs.
Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association, expressed his hope that this signing event would not only be a stepping stone for future cooperation projects between young entrepreneurs of both countries but also affirm the increasingly solid role and position of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association in the international young entrepreneurs network, contributing to the development of Viet Nam-China economic relations in a sustainable and comprehensive direction.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang also expressed his desire for the two organizations to coordinate organizing more seminars, forums, and networking activities to help businesses from both countries tap into new cooperation potentials, while promoting innovation and sustainable development.
The Vice President and Secretary-General of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association hoped that the cooperation initiatives between young entrepreneurs of both countries would contribute to the overall development of the ASEAN-China region, particularly in the context of the growing demand for sustainable development.
As part of the 2024 Viet Nam – China Youth Friendship Meeting program, the delegation of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs visited and worked with Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group Co., Ltd. – one of China’s leading enterprises in the field of logistics and port development.
The delegation held a discussion with company leaders and youth representatives from the company, learning about advanced management models and the smart port projects that the company is implementing. Through the meeting, both sides shared many practical experiences in the field of freight transportation, import-export, as well as discussing future cooperation opportunities between young businesses of the two countries.
This signing event not only serves as a stepping stone for future cooperation projects but also affirms the increasingly solid role and position of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association in the international young entrepreneurs network, contributing to the development of Viet Nam – China economic relations in a sustainable and comprehensive direction.
