The 7th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) was held in Hanoi on March 30-31, 2022. The Congress was attended by 700 delegates representing young entrepreneurs from all over the country.
The Congress elected the 7th Central Committee of the VYEA with 153 members. Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union, Vice Chairman of TTC Group, and Chairman of the 6th VYEA, was re-elected as Chairman of the 7th VYEA for the 2022-2025 term.
The Congress also retained the slogan “Pioneering Innovation – Creating Value”.

The key activities of the 7th term of the VYEA focus on:
- Building, consolidating and developing a strong VYEA organization
- Training to improve the capacity of member enterprises in the digital age
- Promoting trade and investment
- Promoting the role of the young entrepreneur ecosystem in building and advocating for national policies
- Cultural and sports activities of young entrepreneurs
- Strengthening the network and promoting trade between young Vietnamese entrepreneurs and the region and the world
- Supporting youth and young entrepreneurs in starting and innovating businesses
- Building business brands and honoring outstanding young entrepreneurs
- Community service activities associated with the responsibility of young entrepreneurs to the community
In the first two years (2022-2023) of implementing the Resolution of the 7th Congress of the VYEA, along with the global economic recovery, Vietnam began to recover after the period of being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the work of the VYEA also has made some typical marks.
As of the end of October 2023, the VYEA has a network of organizations in 63 provinces and cities, 02 economic sectors, and 14 affiliated clubs with nearly 19,000 members. In addition, the local VYEA also focuses on establishing Young Entrepreneurs Clubs by locality and by field, industry, and hobby. There are 82 Young Entrepreneurs Clubs at the district level and 112 Clubs in the fields of industry, profession, and hobby nationwide. These figures are increasingly affirming the position and role of the VYEA in the community and society.
In particular, the 3rd Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the VYEA unanimously agreed to honor Comrade Hoang Binh Quan, former member of the CPV’s Central Committee, former Head of the CPV’s External Relations Department, as Honorary Chairman of the VYEA. The honoring of Comrade Hoang Binh Quan as Honorary Chairman of the VYEA will contribute to raising the political position of the organization, helping to promote the young entrepreneur movement in localities.
Over 30 years of development and maturity, the VYEA movement has achieved great results in developing the organization, supporting the development of the national young entrepreneur team, and contributing to the economic development of the country. It demonstrates the ambition, will, and desire of the generation of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs to bring their talents and youth to contribute to the goal of building a rich people, strong country, a fair, democratic, and civilized society.
